The Centumbrie company is represented by the story of two families who decided to create an entire Km 0 supply chain consisting of a state-of-the-art olive mill to produce incredible olive oil. Near Perugia, Michele Cinaglia has invested in land, woods and olive groves on the shores of Lake Trasimeno.
Sustainable agriculture
The olive groves owned by Centumbrie are located in the hills, and the land is worked organically, contributing to the sustainability of the area. In fact, waste from olive processing becomes fuel for heating the facilities. The olives are harvested when fully ripe to obtain a soft, rounded oil that still has a strong character and an important balsamic note, combined with an intense spiciness.
Centumbrie oil mill
Centumbrie has an innovative and technological oil mill, where the olive oil is cold pressed with limited use of water out of respect for water and environmental resources. The entire processing cycle is strictly monitored to ensure the highest quality of extra virgin olive oil; storage and bottling take place in temperature-controlled rooms and with the help of inert gases to safeguard the organoleptic and chemical characteristics of the product. The company produces four different styles of extra virgin olive oil, each with a well-defined profile to please the most refined palates.
