Sicilian "Vesuviano" Tomatoes

Deep and bright red in color, the Vesuvian cherry tomato can be harvested in red bunches or as a single fruit. It has an elongated oval shape, slightly pear-shaped or heart-shaped, for which the apical part, called lace, is clearly visible.
It is very appreciated in cooking, especially because it makes the preparation of sauces very easy, as it can be blended or mashed with the whole skin, which is very thin and unobtrusive.
