Star-shaped moss seaweed has a fresh seafood flavor. The color is very dark, a mix between green and red. The texture is cartilaginous and comes in the form of a bush.
The high fiber and iodine content make moss the perfect spice seaweed. This special moss is usually used as a gelling agent and stabilizer. It is great in salads, soups, stews or even fried.
Product made from edible seaweed, hand-picked, washed, and preserved with natural sea salt.
Ingredients: star moss seaweed* (Mastocarpus stellatus) and sea salt.
*Ingredients from organic farming.
Origin: EU agriculture. Seaweed hand-picked in its natural environment along the coast of Galicia. (Bay of Biscay and Portuguese waters)
How to use: This product must be desalted before consumption: soak in water and stir, change the water and repeat the process 3 times. Once desalted, cook for 15-20 minutes to use in salads, scrambled eggs, pasta, or as a garnish for fish and meat. It can also be added as an ingredient when cooking rice, stews, soups, and pasta.
Storage instructions: Store in a cool place. Once opened, store in the refrigerator in the original container or a similar one and consume before the expiration date.
