Tartuflanghe is a family-owned artisan company that has been producing Piedmontese truffle specialties since 1980. The company's name comes from combining the word "truffle" with the name of the area of origin, the Langhe.
The origins
The first truffle specialties were created to give people the opportunity to enjoy truffles even out of season. The idea was to select and certify the quality of the White Truffle of Alba and ship it all over the world. From truffle processing come innovative ideas that go far beyond fresh. Truffle noH2O®, which preserves the taste and aroma of the fresh product with a long shelf life, was the first dehydrated product created in 2010.
Truffle innovation
Thanks to the type of soil (soft, moist and rich in calcium) and climate, Langhe, Monferrato and Roero are the best areas to find Italy's precious truffles. Tartuflanghe experiments and makes its recipes using certified, PDO and PGI raw materials selected from trusted producers. Every product is thought of and made totally in-house, from the preparation of pasta to freeze-dried products, thanks to modern and innovative machinery. Innovating means looking carefully at the end result, capturing in the processed material the quintessence of its perfection, daring to challenge the limits of shapes, textures and tradition itself.
